Welcome to our website. Founded on June 21, 2026, Spermarche is a private scientific research firm headquartered in the Asia-Pacific region exploring the health and medical benefits of human semen.

Our goal is to analyze the myriad of compounds found in human semen for their therapeutic potential. We believe that semen is an excellent and untapped starting point to inform the development of novel pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products. Furthermore, we utilize cutting-edge microscopic and computational techniques to peer into the structure of the spermatozoon in order to identify future research avenues in molecular nanotechnology and nanomedicine.
Want to learn more about the science behind our mission? If so then continue reading below for a crash course on semen that incorporates some of the latest research in this field. For investor and/or advertising inquiries, click here.
^ TOPWhat is semen?
Semen is a clear to whitish bodily fluid that is secreted by the gonads of male animals. In humans, it is released from the penis during sexual climax (orgasm) and is often thick in consistency. Semen contains spermatozoa (sperm cells) and fructose, as well as a whole host of nutrients, minerals, and enzymes that help the sperm to survive until fertilization.
Contrary to popular belief, spermatozoa constitute only about 2 to 5 percent of the total seminal volume (1.5 to 5 mL).
^ TOPWhy semen?
- Semen is nature's multivitamin
- Semen contains many nutrients beneficial for health including vitamin C, B12, ascorbic acid, calcium, citric acid, fructose, lactic acid, magnesium, zinc, potassium, sodium, fat, and protein.
- Compounds in semen show remarkable pharmacological activity
- Spermine and spermidine are powerful longevity agents originally isolated from semen. Spermine (the chemical primarily responsible for the characteristic odor of semen) is an intracellular free radical scavenger that protects the DNA from attack by free radicals while spermidine extends the lifespan of yeast, flies, worms, mice, and human immune cells due to various mechanisms of action including autophagy, inflammation reduction, lipid metabolism, reduction of oxidative stress, and regulation of cell growth, proliferation, and death. It also encourages hair shaft elongation and lengthens hair growth, promotes healthy skin by increasing the expression of epithelial stem cell-associated keratins, protects the heart from aging, is correlated with lower blood pressure in humans, plays a vital role in fertility, and helps to maintain a healthy hormone balance. A related compound, norspermidine is also currently being researched as a potential anti-cancer agent.
- Semen is real life nanotechnology!
- Nanobots are microscopic robots that are considered to be the holy grail of medicine by many futurologists and semen is arguably the closest real-life substance to this science fiction panacea. In fact, many biologists would agree that the sperm cell is an example of real life nanotechnology in action! While it might not be possible to cure atherosclerosis or stage 4 melanoma using semen (yet), studying this amazing substance will provide many avenues for further research.
Why Spermarche?
We are the first (and as of 2026, only) company in the world primarily focused on developing novel medicinal products from human semen. The innovativeness of our mission is reflected in our name - spermarche (borrowed from Ancient Greek sperma meaning "seed" and arkhe meaning "beginning") is the time at which a boy experiences their first ejaculation. In many cultures, spermarche is a marker that signifies a change in status from boyhood to manhood. Similarly, our hope is that our efforts will ignite a comparable revolution in the biosciences and healthcare.
